The Times of Plagues festival has been held annually since 2015 in Chile and is gaining more funs every year. Organized by DFM Producciones (a production company that records live bands). The festival began to have its online format, due to the pandemic and its first edition was held on 02/07/2020 and now preparations and line up announcements began for the next edition, which will be on 08/07/2020.
Between the first bands announced were the Brazilian AnamA and the Chileans of Weight of Emptiness. AnamA is a band that has been gaining prominence in the Brazilian scene and that makes an experimental metal with influences from symphonic metal. Weight of Emptiness, who will contribute all their weight and technique to their Progressive Death Doom, which has impressed the specialized media and fans of this style by the quality and professionalism of its materials.
On the participation in the festival, the vocalist Babi Bueno of the band AnamA comments: "We are very happy to know that our sound is crossing the borders of Brazil and reaching South America. There are many excellent bands here, so this is gratifying!"
From Weight of Emptiness, guitarist Juan Acevedo emphasized: "We are very happy to be present at the Times of Plagues Online Festival, in order to somehow be able to show our music to people who like metal, in these dark times."
